About Mariam Kasmany
Hello, my name is Mariam Kasmany, and I’m the founder of Education Arts Academy.
Teaching has been at the heart of my life for over 20 years. During this time, I’ve had the privilege of working with children, young people, and adults from many different backgrounds, helping them grow in confidence, understanding, and belief in themselves.
Education Arts Academy was created to offer learning that feels supportive, calm, and genuinely personal — because every learner deserves to feel understood and encouraged.
My Teaching Journey
I am a qualified teacher with a strong background in:
- Literacy and Numeracy
- ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages)
- Tutor training and resource development
I previously worked as a Resource Development Lecturer, where I trained tutors across Leicester City and Leicestershire County Council. This role involved developing learning materials, mentoring tutors, and maintaining high standards of teaching.
A Hands-On, Caring Approach
At Education Arts Academy, I personally oversee the entire learning journey. This includes:
- Planning personalised learning pathways
- Monitoring learner progress
- Observing lessons and supporting tutors
- Ensuring lessons remain clear, structured, and supportive
This means parents and learners can feel confident knowing that quality, care, and progress are always a priority.
What I Believe About Learning
I believe learning should never feel overwhelming.
My approach focuses on:
